success in development of AI was one of our greatest achievements, but it might also be the last one if we do not avoid the risks. the present form of AI consists of voice recognition, auto driven cars etc. but these forms do not possess IQ ,the ability of 'what-if-then' analysis of any situation.they could not judge any situation and react accordingly.And it will take a lot of time for us to develop such level of robots, might be centuries of research but when we will do so, these robots will be faster, stronger, smarter and better than us in all aspects. this will have a grave effect on the society, might change the definition of living.But it will not take much time for them to realize that we are primitive and no match for them and that they don't need us.Or their might be a defected robot, an anomaly which could change the programming of other robots. this situation will be like a bacteria, multiplying and corrupting the system and we will remain defenseless.And ultimately a time will come when there will be war between humans and robots for resources which we need to survive and they need to build a better world which would apparently mean the extinction of human species from earth. but all this would come only if WE DO NOT AVOID THE RISKS.................
