I’m Catherine and I will be researching “What is Artificial Intelligence?” Living in an era that largely relies on technology, Artificial Intelligence is a hot topic that is being explored in both the informatics and technology sectors. The following are some links that give a brief introduction to Artificial Intelligence.
The general definition for Artificial Intelligence is:
The theory and development of computer systems able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages
The following two links briefly answer “What is Artificial Intelligence?” I found the examples given in these videos were very useful in grasping the general sense of what AI really is.

Another important section of Artificial Intelligence is the Turing Test.
The general definition for Turing Test is:
A test for intelligence in a computer, requiring that a human being should be unable to distinguish the machine from another human being by using the replies to questions put to both
